About The Position

This position is eligible for a $1,500 bonus We are seeking a talented and team-oriented LPN to join our Balfour Riverfront Park community where we offer senior living tucked into the vibrant neighborhood in Denver , CO. The Licensed Practical Nurse p rovides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service plan and physician’s orders. R esponsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. Location: 1500 Little Raven St, Denver, CO 80202 Schedule: Full-Time | 6p-6a Pay: $38.00-$41.00/hr + night shift differential + $1500 bonus

Requirements

  • One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred
  • Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program

Nice To Haves

  • Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred
  • Hands on experience with ports and Huber needles a plus
  • Experience in wound care
  • Hands on experience with Dialysis shunts a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition
  • Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basis
  • Assess residents to identify their physical, psycho social and environmental needs
  • Communicate, identify, report and document problems
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
  • Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident
  • Document evaluation f nursing interventions including resident response
  • Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plans
  • Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
  • Assist with Medication Management Program
  • Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
  • Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
  • As well as perform other related duties as required
