About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers nursing care to patients of all ages under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This role involves performing direct and indirect patient care duties.

Requirements

• Current Licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the RN will be working and addresses growth and development needs for the patient for whom the LPN will be providing nursing care
