About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, delivering empathetic and compassionate care. DaVita's mission is to be the Provider, Partner, and Employer of Choice. The position involves building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting, working as part of a supportive team. LPNs will deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment. No prior dialysis experience is required, and training may take place at a different facility. A flexible schedule is necessary, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • IV certification if required by state regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
  • Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
