HealthCARE Express is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team of compassionate professionals! In this role, you will obtain vital signs (temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight), insert saline locks, and perform both basic and advanced cardiac life support. You will apply sterile dressings, remove sutures or staples, assist with pelvic examinations, and perform EKGs. Additional responsibilities include cleansing and irrigating wounds, administering oral medications, and applying various splints (volar, thumb Spica, ulnar gutter, posterior leg splints). You will also initiate routine lab tests, swab mucous membranes for cultures, administer and read TB skin tests, perform venipuncture, and give medications via intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal routes. Flexibility for cross-training and handling tasks outside the usual scope is required. Observing and acting in line with our organization's values is essential, along with other duties to support our vision and mission.
