Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
Novant Health is seeking LPN to provide assistance to our physicians and our nurses in various aspects of patient care, from scheduling appointments and managing medical records to taking vital signs and administering medications. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program
- Appropriate state LPN license, required.
- Computer skills
- Phone call etiquette
- Organizational Skills
Nice To Haves
- One year of relevant experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, and perform EKGs
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for treatment
- Provide compassionate care and patient education focused on orthopedic health and recovery
