Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities to enhance patient comfort and well-being.
- Educate patients and families about health management and wellness.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in patient assessments and contribute to care strategies.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
