About The Position
Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services for the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our day shift team at Wilcox State Prison- Abbeville, GA. This role is ideal for nurses who prefer consistent evening hours, competitive pay, and a structured clinical environment, without the constant interruptions and stress of traditional hospital settings. Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license – Compact (MSL) or Georgia (SL) | Must be active and valid
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS | Must be active
- Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, this may include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care
- Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
- Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
