About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN will assist with patient care needs, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and support daily clinical operations in a long-term care setting.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to fulfill the full contract assignment
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes promptly
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations
