About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at WE LEVEL UP is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare practitioners. The LPN will ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients while adhering to established protocols and procedures. This role is vital in supporting the healthcare team and contributing to the overall patient care experience.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
  • CPR Certification
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform nursing procedures and provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians and registered nurses.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and any changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
