Responsibilities

Obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight
Inserting saline locks
Providing advanced life support
Delivering wound care
Assisting with pelvic exams, EKGs, and lab tests
Administering various types of medications including oral, intramuscular, and IV
Applying splints and sterile dressings
Removing sutures and staples
Performing venipuncture
Conducting TB skin tests
