Requirements
- Valid LPN License
- Must have the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of client patient care
- Excellent communication & organization skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience as an LPN in a related medical field (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Escorts patients to exam rooms and take vitals.
- Prepare patient chart with appropriate documentation Schedule lab tests and Triage patient calls.
- Assist physician with various procedures & exams
- Responsibilities vary by practice and specialty
- Demonstrating excellent customer service
- Collaborate with medical team to provide patient care
- Assist physicians with patient office visits, including intake and monitoring vital signs, chief complaint, updating patient information, and providing patient education
- Managing the daily practice workflow
- Fielding patient telephone calls and responding appropriately (triage)
- Documenting in patient's electronic medical record, including patient portal management
- Responsibilities vary according to specialty, and can include assisting with in-office testing and procedures such as heart and glucose monitoring
