Licensed Practical Nurse Twelve Hour Shift
About The Position
Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for meaningful, one-on-one care where your clinical skills truly matter? ComForCare Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable LPNs to support a client with a progressive neurological condition requiring advanced mobility assistance and enteral feeding support. This role primarily involves 12-hour overnight shifts, with opportunities to also cover 12-hour daytime shifts for interested and qualified nurses. About the Role This is a private-duty case requiring consistent, attentive nursing care in a home setting. The client has complex neurological needs and relies on skilled LPN support to maintain comfort, safety, and dignity throughout extended shifts.
Requirements
- Hold an active LPN license in good standing
- Have experience or strong interest in complex neurological or long-term care
- Are comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts (day shifts also available)
- Looking for 1-3 shifts during the week
- Are confident with enteral feeding management
- Value consistency, professionalism, and relationship-based care
- Communicate clearly and document accurately
Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring enteral feedings, including overnight care
- Providing skilled clinical observation and support
- Assisting with advanced mobility needs and repositioning
- Supporting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs and overall condition
- Communicating clearly with the care team and family
- Delivering calm, compassionate, one-on-one nursing care
- All care is provided in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and under RN guidance.
