About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, the LPN Residential Nurse is responsible for the effective operation of the Detox Unit. The Residential LPN performs the duties required in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • AHA BLS required upon hire or transfer.
  • CPI required within 90 days of hire or transfer. Current incumbents will be required to obtain CPI certification by 3/31/2025.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in detoxification required.
  • Ability to perform assessment for signs and symptoms of dependency and withdrawal.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of health-related issues regarding addiction, detoxification, chronic diseases, communicable and infectious diseases.
  • Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
