About The Position

youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Part Time Licensed Practical
Nurse (Days) at Fort Myers Academy in Fort Myers, FL ✨

Ft. Myers Academy (FMYA) is located in Fort Myers, Florida.  We are a moderate
risk, all-female program, contracted through the Florida Department of Juvenile
Justice, which offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in
evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy offers qualified
supervision hours.  We are dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene
and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for
individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based
practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Pay: $29.00 per hour (USD)

What you will do:  The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part Time works as a key
member of the medical team and provides for the general health care of the
students within the scope of your license.  This may include administering
immunizations, assisting with TB screening, flu vaccines, and overall health
maintenance of students and staff.  As a Part-Time LPN, you will also assist
with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention
of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral
disorders.  This position assist in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and
other medical equipment for the medical team.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from Florida
• Have a minimum of two years previous medical services administration, including demonstrated experience in operating and securing comprehensive health services programs
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical and TB testing
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Responsibilities
