About The Position

Summary: Provides nursing services to the inpatient/detox unit.
Requirements
- Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills.
- Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families.
- Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prefer one year of experience in nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides client evaluation, medication evaluation, medication checks, calls in prescriptions, sometimes may provide individual or group therapy and subsequent paperwork.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning,
- Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
- May provide supervision as directed.
