Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for the following: Performs designated direct patient care activities to meet patient care needs Actively seeks measures to promote patient safety and satisfaction in all aspects of patient care demonstrating accountability and responsibility for performance consistent with hospital and departmental standards. May perform clerical functions to support departmental operations, including but not limited to contacting physician offices to facilitate appropriate and complete chart reservation and monitoring quality initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing and passed the Pennsylvania Board Association for Licensed Practical Nurse
  • State Issued LPN Licensure required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
