Responsibilities
- Obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight
- Inserting saline locks
- Providing advanced life support
- Delivering wound care
- Assisting with pelvic exams, EKGs, and lab tests
- Administering various types of medications including oral, intramuscular, and IV
- Applying splints and sterile dressings
- Removing sutures and staples
- Performing venipuncture
- Conducting TB skin tests
