About The Position

A nonprofit founded in 1969 in Charlotte, North Carolina, we have since grown to be one of the largest providers of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. We are looking for passionate people to join our team! McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to work for its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program in Charlotte. Clinic hours operate Monday - Friday, 5 am - 12:30 pm, and Saturday, 6 - 9 am.

Requirements

Minimum technical program completion for LPN and a valid NC LPN or LPN from another state that participates in the multistate nurse licensure compact.

Responsibilities

Administer medication to clients according to medical order.
Maintain accurate record-keeping, to include notes as required.
Perform intake with new clients.
Ensure doctor’s orders are followed.
Obtain vital signs from clients as needed or as ordered by the doctor.
Respond to staff needs – give PPD tests, respond to medical codes.
Audit charts, ensure medical inventory is stocked.
