Come see why your job search stops here! The LPN Charge Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care at Bayview. In this position, you’ll assess residents’ health needs, implement and evaluate care plans, administer medications and treatments, and oversee Nursing Assistants (NACs) to ensure care is delivered safely, accurately, and with compassion. You’ll serve as a clinical resource on your shift, communicate closely with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, and help maintain a calm, orderly, and supportive environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented nurse who values consistency, follows established procedures, and takes pride in providing reliable, high-quality care. The work is steady and predictable, with a strong focus on accuracy, documentation, and continuity of care. As a Charge Nurse, you’ll also contribute to quality assurance efforts, staff development, and—when assigned—serve as the on-site clinical leader during evenings, nights, or weekends. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program of nursing education.
  • Current Nursing license for the State of WA
  • Broad knowledge base and experience in geriatric nursing, long term care and supervisory duties.
  • Experienced in the care of the geriatric resident as evidenced by completed courses and clinical practice
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Ability and willingness to complete continuing education according to State Law.
  • Adheres to State rules and regulations concerning delivery of resident care and assures that nursing services are provided and documented.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer at least 3 – 5 years experience.
