Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• One year experience in medical/surgical area along with experience in subacute and/or long term care.
• Must be a licensed practical nurse in the state of Maryland
• CPR certified

Responsibilities

• To implement all aspects of the nursing process based upon the medical needs of the patient/resident.
• To asses and interpret patient/resident information.
• To plan and implement patient/resident care plans.
• To act in a supervisory position to provide direction and leadership to GNAs and other support staff.
