About The Position
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. This position is for a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse at Branchville Correctional Facility in Branchville, Indiana. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff
- Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs of patients
