What you’ll do at DBH : · Provide medication, education, and empowerment to individuals . · Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, and response to medication. · Monitor patient health including vital signs, treatment plan progress, and activity participation . · Serve in a fundamental role as a multi-disciplinary team member that creates a safe and positive environment through safety and observation rounds and group facilitation. This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union) , with a pay range of #10 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are 3\:00 pm - 11\:30 pm. This position is located within our Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Campus Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Campus at 930 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43614 930 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43614 . Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter. Requirements

  • License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code & proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration.
  • Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis treatment must possess Certification in IV Therapy pursuant to Section 4723.17 Ohio Revised Code.
  • For positions that require operation of motor vehicle to transport consumers to recreational, educational &/or occupational activities, a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Nursing Technical Skills\: Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Customer Service, Medical Charting, Medication Management
  • Professional Skills\: Attention to Detail, Teamwork, Time Management, Confidentiality, Adaptability
