About The Position

As a nurse for our inpatient rehab unit at our destination rehab center, you will provide care to a variety of conditions and treatment plans including; stroke, neuro, spine, transplant and trauma rehab patients. This medical surgical nurse position performs assessments, administers medications, IV therapy, care planning and more while collaborating with various care team members including therapists, providers, and other ancillary departments. You will attend team meetings with managers to ensure exceptional patient care amongst the entire care team. This is a great opportunity to work with leading technology and robotics in a new facility. Our rehab institute is a destination rehab center enhancing how we provide rehabilitation patient care in the Midwest. The Shift: Full Time Day Shift The Work: · Utilizes the nursing process. · Performs patient care · Delegates patient care tasks · Supervises other patient care staff. · Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients · Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. · Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. To be successful in the position, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, open to feedback and eager to learn. Rehab experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with IV Medication, IV Therapy, Dialysis, Transplant or Neuro preferred, but not required. Strong communication with a desire to work with a care team to provide patient care is important. Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • IV Certification - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
  • To be successful in the position, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, open to feedback and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication with a desire to work with a care team to provide patient care is important.

Nice To Haves
