About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Elkhart Meadows, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Requirements

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana
Proficient medication management skills
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers and staff

Responsibilities

Utilize nursing skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of residents
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
