About The Position
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or provider. Responsibilities include pre-op preparation and post-anesthesia recovery support, patient monitoring, and discharge education in accordance with established clinical protocols.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in good standing
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for ophthalmic procedures including intake, vital signs, medication reconciliation and patient education.
- Assist with post-operative recovery and monitoring patient status and reporting changes to the RN or Provider
- Administering medications and treatments within LPN scope and facility policy
- Perform documentation in the electronic medical record
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
