About The Position
Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for an inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Observation Unit! DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Our patient population consists of outpatient/observation patients admitted from the Emergency Department, for a short stay for 24 hours or less. We care for a variety of diagnoses including, chest pain, asthma, syncope, anemia, back pain, dvt, heart failure and many others.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse License in the state of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- GED or HiSET
