These are the workers who have retired from Department of Energy facilities such Lawrence Livermore National Lab, Sandia National Lab Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Stanford Linear, etc. We also serve Federal Workers such as US Postal Workers. Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current IDAHO RN/LPN License
  • Current BLS Certificate
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, to enable the employee to communicate effectively
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, to enable the employee to review a wide variety of materials in electronic or hard copy form
  • Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, to enable the employee to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other related equipment
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, to enable the employee to safely lift, move, or maneuver whatever may be necessary to successfully perform the duties of their position

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration with staff members.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Support and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform nursing procedures in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Work under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Monitor patient reactions and progress through observation, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Educate patients and their families about disease processes, medications, plans of care, treatment options, and home care procedures as outlined in the plan of care.
  • Report any adverse findings or concerns to the physician and RN promptly.
  • Comply with all applicable state regulations.
  • Coordinate and monitor patient care services to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy both in and out of the patient's home.
  • Follow infection control policies rigorously in all settings.
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Document skilled visits accurately and in accordance with established guidelines. Documentation must be completed by the end of each shift. If unable to complete the Case Manager must be notified.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records in line with agency policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through in-service training, workshops, seminars, and self-study courses annually.
