Since 1976, we have worked with people in need of assistance, including those living with intellectual or developmental disabilities or other complex medical needs, across the nation. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing support to individuals receiving services under the New Mexico Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver. This role involves providing direct clinical care, conducting health assessments, responding to changes in clinical condition, offering competency-based training to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), implementing Health Care Plans (HCPs) and the Comprehensive Aspiration Risk Management Plan (CARMP), and ensuring strict adherence to all DDSD standards, federal and state regulations, and the New Mexico Nursing Practice Act.
