About The Position

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Urgent Care Department in Hibbing, MN. As an LPN, you will provide nursing support to patients within the Urgent Care. The facility is a Level IV trauma center and an Acute Stroke Ready hospital. The Urgent Care Department features 6 beds and employs a multidisciplinary approach to all emergencies, with a care delivery team consisting of Board Certified/Eligible urgent care physicians and advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, Unit Assistants, a dedicated Social Worker, and a dedicated Security Officer, serving patients of all ages. Requirements

1 year of LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred (as part of Tier 1 Criteria).
Current MN LPN License (as part of Tier 2 Criteria).
1 year experience as Nursing Assistant (as part of Tier 2 Criteria).
Current Minnesota LPN Licensure.
Attends BLS class within six months of employment and maintains certification.

Responsibilities

Capturing the data involved in total systems assessment, including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data, as well as ongoing data collection.
Assisting the provider in coordinating a plan of care based on prioritized patient needs in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.
Assisting in provision of age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all disciplines according to standards of care.
