Licensed Practical Nurse- Children's After Hours Clinic (Part-Time)
About The Position
MUSC Children’s Health After Hours Care Nexton is a pediatric outpatient clinic operating under the Shawn Jenkin’s Children’s Hospital at MUSC. During the day, the clinic hosts various pediatric subspecialists including pediatric pulmonary, GI, endocrinology, ENT, and cardiology. Additionally, it provides a walk-in After Hours Care service, functioning as a direct extension of the pediatric emergency department to serve the community when most pediatricians are closed. This position requires working three 8-hour shifts per week in afterhours, including every other weekend.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
