Broadstep Behavioral Health is seeking full-time day and night shift Licensed Practical Nurses for one of our inpatient adolescent treatment facilities in South Carolina. Location: Simpsonville, SC Shift Information: Day Shift (6AM-6PM), Night Shift (6PM-6AM) About Broadstep. Our team provides a continuum of physical, emotional, and mental support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. We offer a range of services including inpatient, community-based and residential programs that offer 24/7 support. Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a South Carolina state approved practical nursing program
- Possess a practical nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing in South Carolina
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary team members and with parents/guardians
- Pass a pre-employment screening and drug test
Responsibilities
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide specialized patient care to individuals with behavioral and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Observe, assess, and evaluate the health needs of the individuals we support.
- Coordinate preventative and routine medical care for individuals supported.
- Administer medications as needed
