About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN is responsible for providing high-quality, direct pediatric primary care and supporting healthcare providers through clinical responsibilities in a professional and efficient manner. This role requires proficiency in routine clinical procedures, strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient center-centered approach in a fast-paced medium-sized outpatient primary care pediatric practice. Advocare, LLC is a physician-owned partnership of leading pediatricians, family practitioners, and specialists in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Requirements

  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care
  • Solid understanding of immunization practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Proficient in a variety of administrative tasks including documentation and records management
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership when needed
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems (eCW)
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Demonstrates the ability to meet performance goals and deadlines consistently
  • Must have an active LPN license

Nice To Haves

  • One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides general nursing care to pediatric patients
  • Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs
  • Prepare pediatric patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures
  • Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation
  • Administer immunizations to patients of all ages in accordance to the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations
  • Respond to incoming patient treatment-related phone calls and schedule patients appropriately
  • Prepare, disinfect, and maintain examination and treatment rooms
  • Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
