As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to the health and happiness of our residents. Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Reasons to work at Edenbrook North: $5,000 Sign on for FT Shift! Starting pay between $32 -37.50/hr., based on experience. Tuition Reimbursement/ Loan Repayment up to $5,250 a year PRN rate at $35 (No Shift differential) Shift differential $3 PMs and $2 on NOCs Employee referral bonuses. Weekend Warrior Programs are available

Requirements

  • You love working with people and handle everyday challenges with a smile!
  • Graduate or Future Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Hold a Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN in a long term care setting
  • A natural problem solver
  • Are committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff

Responsibilities

  • Conducted health assessments and created personalized care plans for each resident.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and promptly address any changes in health status.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and person-centered care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of wellness programs and activities.
  • Educate residents and their families on health-related topics and promote preventive care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate and appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medical records.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
