About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of healthcare services and mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Reception and Medical Center-West Unit located in Lake Butler, Florida (Union County). Pay Rate: $30 The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- 12 hr shifts

- Corrections experience not required
