About The Position

At Wood Violet Recovery, nurses play a critical role in helping individuals through detox, stabilization, and early recovery. The work is fast-paced, structured, and incredibly rewarding, supported by leadership that values clear communication, teamwork, and mutual support. Nurses are encouraged to tour the facility and meet the team to see if it's the right fit. Behavioral health nursing here is busy, engaging, and very human, with nurses working from a central nurse station where clients come to them, providing a steady home base. The company trains and supports nurses new to behavioral health to ensure they feel confident in the role.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Wisconsin
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced situations
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Compassion, professionalism, and a team mindset

Nice To Haves

• SUD/MH experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing intake assessments and support detox treatment plans
• Conduct daily nurse visits and monitor client health status
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Process labs and communicate results
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation (HIPAA & regulatory standards)
• Respond to medical concerns with confidence and compassion
• Support clients through detox and stabilization
• Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and the clinical team
• Communicate with families when appropriate
• Coordinate hospital transfers and nurse-to-nurse communication
• Maintain medical supply inventory
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
