About The Position

Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. This full-time, night shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is located at the Women’s Therapeutic Residential Center in Henning, Tennessee. The LPN (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements

• TN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
• Working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs
