About The Position

Visting Nurse Association Specializes in home hospice that provides compassionate, end-of-life care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Their skilled nurses focus on managing pain and symptoms, supporting emotional and spiritual needs, and guiding both patients and families through the hospice journey. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, the VNA ensures dignity, comfort, and quality of life during a patient’s final days while offering education, resources, and respite support to caregivers. Licensed Practical Nurse Provides hands-on nursing care focused on comfort and quality of life for patients with terminal illnesses. Working under the supervision of an RN, the LPN makes routine hospice visits to patients’ homes or facilities to administer medications, provide wound and catheter care, assist with hygiene and positioning, monitor pain and symptoms, and observe for changes in condition. The LPN also educates and supports family caregivers, reinforcing care instructions and offering emotional reassurance, while communicating patient needs and concerns to the hospice team so care plans can be adjusted promptly.
