How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver direct, compassionate patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician, ensuring all actions are within the scope of your LPN/LVN license. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, meticulously observing and documenting patient responses to ensure accurate, high-quality records. Conduct focused patient assessments and skillfully monitor their condition to assure the well-being of every individual. Empower patients and families with comprehensive education on their disease treatment plans, self-care, and post-discharge resources to promote sustained health. Perform necessary laboratory tests and therapeutic services that contribute to the overall care plan.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
