Now hiring for the Overnight and Weekend Shifts at Avenues Recovery Center in Covington, LA! Avenues Recovery Detox and Drug Rehab Center is a residential facility offering drug and alcohol medical stabilization and inpatient rehabilitation services. With an unparalleled clinical program and experienced and passionate staff, each client is given the best possible chance to achieve lasting sobriety. Requirements

  • Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
  • Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
  • Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
  • Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
  • Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
  • Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
  • Provide patient education in individual and group settings
