About The Position
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is located at Lee State Prison in Leesburg, Georgia. The LPN (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
