We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care to clinic patients in accordance with established standards and practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in both collaborative team environments and autonomously. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a consistently professional demeanor. Requirements

  • Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree

Responsibilities

  • Perform telephone triage and coordinate patient care flow.
  • Schedule appointments for patients requiring emergent care.
  • Identify and address patient and family learning needs, providing appropriate advice and recommendations.
  • Insert intravenous (IV) access and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Delegate tasks to clinical support staff based on demonstrated competencies and within their defined Scope of Practice.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation of test results, and comprehensive documentation of patient care.
  • Enter admission orders as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Manage expired medication samples and maintain compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Covering duties typically performed by Medical Assistants or assisting with other general office duties as needed.
