Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position

We are looking to hire a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Stoney Ridge, Ohio office with travel on Wednesdays to other CHS sites as needed. You would be working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals allowing you to utilize your skills and grow in your profession. Under the direction of our Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing, you would be responsible for the assessment of patients, point of care testing, lab and diagnostic follow-up, and other nursing functions to support quality patient care. Hours for this position are: Mondays 7am-7pm, Tuesdays through Thursdays 8am-5pm, Fridays 8am-1pm At CHS, we value our team and the critical role they play in patient care. Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum of one year as an LPN
- Knowledge of documenting with EHR
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to critically think and problem solve
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
Responsibilities
- Work directly with patients Monday through Friday- No Weekends (Travel on Wednesdays required)
- Perform Adult and Pediatric Nursing Assessments
- Communicate clearly with Providers, Patients, and CHS Staff
- Follow-up on Lab and Diagnostic testing
- Administer injections as needed
- Follow all safety, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines
