About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES Job Specific Competencies: 1.Answer telephone calls, calling patients with results, scheduling testing and appointments. 2.Processing prior authorizations and referrals. 3.Assists the physician and/or nurse to provide physical care for the patient before, during, and after examinations and procedures, as needed. 4.Provides nursing care to patients in the clinic following the MO Nurse Practice Act, LPN Scope of Practice. 5.Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain competence. 6.Uses facility communication systems correctly. 7.Performs routine clerical activities required for efficient operation of the ambulatory clinic. 8.Ensures efficient customer friendly telephone communication. Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited LPN program
  • LPN license in the state of Missouri
  • BCLS certification (not required for staff who work fully remote)
  • Computer skills preferred but not required

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one year of experience in an acute care setting; prefer an additional 1 year in ambulatory care
