Day Shifts (Monday - Friday) and No Weekends SUMMARY: Licensed Practical Nurse to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing services and care for individuals residing in Madison Cortland ARC Residential Program.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurses License and at least six months medical experience within the developmental disabilities or public health nursing field.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the general health and medical management of assigned individuals. This includes follow-up of health-related issues and coordination with physicians, clinicians, family members, and Residential Services Program staff.
- Provides medical support for residential program; through assisting with arranging and scheduling of appointments, follow-ups as necessary, paperwork, and filing in accordance with the Residential system.
- Assists R.N. with updating and tracking appointments, lab work and the results thereof.
