Nightshift Licensed Practical Nurse (Pediatric)

Seeking experienced Pediatric G-Tube Nurse Patient: 2-year-old female Location: Callahan (32011) Available Shifts: Day Shift: Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Night Shift: Monday-Sunday, 7:00PM—7:00AM She is a happy, cheerful child who enjoys music. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical expertise and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Favorite activities include golf cart rides around the neighborhood and visits to the local water park.
Requirements
- Current, active Florida RN or LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
Responsibilities
- Medication administration per physician orders
- Physician ordered treatments for: Nutrition via a feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning — nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
