About The Position

The University of Iowa Health Care, department of nursing is seeking a 100% Licensed Practical Nurse to work at the Pediatric Procedure Suite. Duties to include: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients. In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit
• Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
