About The Position
Gail's Homecare is a non-medical, in-home care provider based in Lithonia, Georgia, serving several counties including Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Jackson, and Rockdale County. The company aims to provide high-quality personal care to clients in their residences. Gail's Homecare is seeking a compassionate and highly-skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver various personal care and services in accordance with an established plan of care. In this role, the RN will work with clients in their homes, assisting with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, providing compassionate care and assistance, and documenting clients' progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and provide safe, quality patient care
- Ability to assist with patient mobility and physical care task
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect
- Driver’s License or State-Issued ID
- TB Test Results
- Social Security Card
- Vaccination Card
- Fingerprinting / Background Check Clearance
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Home health or private duty experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver various personal care and services in accordance with an established plan of care
- Provide the personal needs and comfort of patients in their homes
- Work with clients in their homes, helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations
- Provide compassionate care and assistance
- Document clients' progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing
- Follow care plans and provide safe, quality patient care
- Assist with patient mobility and physical care tasks
- Engage in exercises and play-based activities to make sessions fun
- Assist with potty training
- Support the use of an AAC device
