About The Position

As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This position reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. The LPN will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, and older adults.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification required.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Report to the Director or Manager of the Department.
• Assist in the management of patient care in accordance with established standards.
