This is an on-site part-time position working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The role involves administering and overseeing self-administered and prescribed medications per established schedules as ordered. Responsibilities include monitoring clients' vital signs and other physical health information, maintaining accurate records reflecting the data, and administering injectable medications while ensuring accurate prescribed dosage and timely delivery. The position also requires educating clients in the management of side effects and obtaining preauthorization of prescriptions/medications from the pharmacy when needed. Additionally, the role involves completing and maintaining accurate documentation relating to the provision of care, medications, and other client-related services, as well as maintaining client medical records and transcribing medical provider orders. The position includes administering pregnancy tests and drug screens, maintaining accurate inventory counts of medicines and medical supplies, scheduling outside medical appointments, and monitoring medical equipment and testing per CLIA standards.
