About The Position

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for a medical inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Springfield, MA. This position is part-time, working nights from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. The Medicine Unit provides the opportunity to care for patients diagnosed with a variety of medical concerns, making it a challenging yet rewarding career. The Medicine Units at Baystate Health are highly specialized and will be the foundation of a successful nursing career.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse Certification required.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Education: GED or High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the inpatient medical telemetry unit.
• Participate in nurse-driven change projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Physician Medical Director.
• Support the professional growth and development of the nursing team.
• Engage in teaching medical residents and nursing students.
